Apple spits out Android option from Chomp app navigator

It's taken a bit longer than we expected, but following Apple's acquisition of app search engine Chomp, the Android option has now been cut out from its homepage. We're now left with the choice between iPhone and iPad categories, alongside existing shortcuts for popular freebies and apps on sale, in a few efforts to cut through Cupertino's 600,000-strong app selection. Hit up the source to give it a run for yourself.

Residential Buildings in London Will House Surface-to-Air Missiles During the Olympics [Wtf]

Large-scale, international events like the Olympics are often considered as targets for terrorist attacks. The UK's Ministry of Defence is taking that extremely seriously: it's placing surface-to-air missiles on a residential apartment building during the summer's sporting event. More »

Sarah Michelle Gellar & Freddie Prinze Jr. Expecting Baby #2

The Hollywood baby boom continues with the announcement that Sarah Michelle Gellar and hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their second child together. Sarah and Freddie are getting a new addition to their already beautiful family. It has been revealed that the Ringer actress is pregnant with baby number two. The couple already has a three year old daughter, Charlotte Grace. Although Gellar and Prinze have announced the pregnancy that is pretty much all they are confirming right now. There is no information as to whether or not they know the sex of the baby or when their new bundle of joy will be arriving. I would say she is probably due in the late fall but that is just my two cents. Maybe they will release more info soon but I doubt it they are very private and kept their first pregnancy on the down low if you know what I mean. As I am sure many of you are aware the couple married since 2002 met while filming the oh so bad it was good horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer. Both Sarah and Freddie grew up in Hollywood but as adults have kept a [...]

LG Optimus 2X my way: Richard Devine

Following on the series, it's time to give you guys an insight into how I use my Android phone. Generally, I have two phones on the go, and up until recently one of those was a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I've now waved goodbye to the Nexus and welcomed into my life a shiny new (and white, most importantly) HTC One X. It would be a pretty short read featuring the One X, so we'll focus on my other daily driver -- my long serving LG Optimus 2X. The 2X is still the phone that runs my "normal" phone number, it's the one that people actually call and text me on -- yeah, people do still do that apparently. So I never leave the house without it.

After the break, i'll take you through it.
